Summary:

The Sr. Applications Analyst functions collaboratively as a leader, a consultant and a researcher with the primary responsibility of the effective implementation and support of financial applications . Also responsible for promoting quality and system stability within the realm of the Information Systems of the organization. Also works to improve the workflow and processes of the systems that support the health system. Serves to integrate and optimize practice and information systems.

This position is responsible for the design, build, testing, installation and support of software applications. Serves as a leader with overall responsibility for software analysis and design, application and system installation and implementation. This position requires knowledge of processes and workflows common in financial applications in addition to advanced information systems experience.

Requirements:

B achelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Healthcare Informatics, Information Systems or related fields

At least two years' experience in financial applications implementation and support

Working knowledge of healthcare clinical, business/financial and/or other workflow and computer applications required

Experience in Accounting, Finance, Materials Management and EDI is highly desired

Experience with McKesson's Horizon Enterprise Materials Management (HEMM) and McKesson's Horizon Enterprise Financial Management (HEFM) is desired

Ability to create SQL queries, SQL views, SQL SSRS, or Crystal reports is desired

Requires excellent customer service skills and communication skills. Self-starter with the Ability to work independently.
