Our Patient Representative is a generalist, a listener and a communicator who serves as a liaison between patients, family members and the hospital staff. The Patient Rep is committed to Patient Rights and Responsibilities. He or she serves as a Patient advocate to receive, investigate, clarify, mediate, resolve and/or redirect patient concern appropriately. This very rewarding position's main focus is on patient satisfaction.
A minimum of two - four years of customer experience in a clinical or customer service setting preferred. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. Ability to remain calm in stressful situations. The Patient Representative will be responsible for ensuring patient satisfaction by delivering exceptional customer service through complaint resolution. This 'customer service' oriented job will act as a liaison between the patient, clinical staff, and managers. The goal will be to resolve patient concerns while maintaining Gwinnett Medical Center's commitment to providing an outstanding patient experience. The Patient Representative will help to promote patient education and resolve any emerging concerns a patient may face, with accuracy and efficiency. This position is not a standard customer service role. Your interactions with our patient is a conversation; you'll be the person who listens to our patients, hears their concerns, and provides the solutions needed to help ensure the patient's overall healthcare experience.
