Our Patient Representative is a generalist, a listener and a communicator who serves as a liaison between patients, family members and the hospital staff. The Patient Rep is committed to Patient Rights and Responsibilities. He or she serves as a Patient advocate to receive, investigate, clarify, mediate, resolve and/or redirect patient concern appropriately. This very rewarding position's main focus is on patient satisfaction.
•Minimum of two years college in Social and Behavioral Science or Public Relations field.
•Successful completion of testing in secondary language.
•Bilingual(Spanish) as required with knowledge of medical terminology
•Requires physical effort, particularly walking and periods of standing in place.
•Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
•Demonstrated ability in problem solving and reconciliation techniques
•Able to maintain composure during difficult situations, while presenting a professional attitude at all times.
•Ability to function independently: to prioritize, meet deadlines and effectively manage time.
